Love on the Snow Peak
- Engagement in the Dolomites
Sometimes, the most memorable shoots begin with a walk.
Together with Angela and Gary, we took the cable car up to First before setting off on the trail towards Bachalpsee. 🥾
The hike wasn’t rushed. We stopped whenever the scenery caught our eyes, shared stories along the way, and simply enjoyed being in the mountains together. Somehow, it felt less like work, and more like spending a day with friends.
Angela and Gary are the kind of couple who make everything feel effortless. Kind, easy-going, and always smiling, they trusted us completely throughout the journey, allowing every photograph to unfold naturally.
As we reached Bachalpsee, the lake reflected the surrounding peaks like a mirror. The afternoon light grew softer with every passing minute, while the cool mountain breeze reminded us to slow down and appreciate where we were.
One of our favourite things about photographing couples overseas isn’t just creating beautiful images—it’s sharing the journey together. The conversations on the trail, the laughter between locations, the little breaks to take in the view… those are often the moments we remember most.
And if one day you decide to explore the Swiss Alps with us, we hope it won’t feel like a photoshoot.
We hope it feels like an adventure you’ll always remember. 🤍

After the hike, we returned to Grindelwald and spent the rest of the afternoon at the famous “Dream Slope.”
The atmosphere couldn’t have been more different from the quiet mountain trails that morning.
Instead of slowing down, we ran through the open fields, chased the golden light, laughed far more than we expected, and simply enjoyed the freedom of the moment.
That’s something we always love about destination shoots.
Every location has its own rhythm, and every couple brings out a different side of the journey.
With Angela and Gary, the day felt wonderfully balanced—peaceful in the mountains, playful on the hillside, and filled with the kind of moments that can’t be planned.
By the time the sun disappeared behind the Alps, it felt like we’d shared an adventure rather than just a photoshoot. 🤍
